Crossroads Community Planning LLC was founded in January 2020 by Holly Mattei, AICP with the vision to integrate planning, zoning, and economic development expertise within a single practice. Operating as a remote-based firm with planners in both the Columbus and Cleveland regions, the Crossroads team leverages over 75 collective years of experience to develop innovative, accessible plans and zoning codes for communities of all sizes throughout Ohio.
Crossroads has been in business for nearly 6 years, and has grown from a small, one-person shop to the current 6-person interdisciplinary team on staff today. The Firm was formed as a single-member LLC by Holly Mattei and grew organically as word spread among communities throughout Ohio about the superior services Crossroads provides. In that time, Crossroads has provided the following services:
- Comprehensive plans and zoning codes at the Township, Village, City and County levels.
- Provided technical assistance/staffing services to communities to assist in implementation and ongoing administration.
- Housing site studies and feasibility analyses for communities both locally and nationally.
- Worked with local communities to site large projects such as data centers, logistics centers and mixed-use developments.
- Worked with local communities on preservation efforts, having partnered with communities to complete both revitalization plans for historic areas and preserving areas in their natural state through planning and enactment of conservation zoning districts.
