Holly Mattei, AICP, Owner/President, served the Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission (FCRPC) for over 16 years, with eight of those years as its Executive Director. During her tenure at FCRPC, Ms. Mattei updated various township and village zoning codes. She also assisted with a US 33 Corridor Overlay District to be adopted by the communities along this highway. She also was in integral part of the preparation and implementation of the long-range plans for the county that included both farmland preservation and key development areas.
Ms. Mattei also served as the Development Director for Violet Township where she worked with various economic development tools. She worked cooperatively with the City of Canal Winchester on development within a Cooperative Economic Development Agreement (CEDA). She also served on the Tax Incentive Review Councils for the TIF’s established within the Violet Township portions of Canal Winchester and Reynoldsburg.
Ms. Mattei has also served as the Chair for both the Fairfield County Transportation Improvement District and the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission’s Transportation Advisory Committee. She has also been a board member of the City of Pickerington Chamber of Commerce and the Mid-Ohio Development Exchange.
Ms. Mattei’s work and board experiences have allowed her to understand the barriers that zoning and infrastructure costs can create for business owners and developers. Ms. Mattei has worked with communities to create zoning codes, formulate processes and identify funding sources to successfully move projects forward.
